◆ QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
How the Creative Universe works — offers, bookings, payments and what to expect.
How do I know which offer is right for me?
Start with Find Your Path. It is a short questionnaire that asks what you are working on, where you are in the process, and what you want to happen next — then points you at the right starting place. If you would rather just talk it through, book a Genius Session™.
What is a Genius Session™?
A focused 1:1 working session. You bring the thing that is stuck — a manuscript, a screenplay, a poem, a podcast, an idea — and we break the block, dig into structure, or clarify your next move. No vague feedback. $250 per session.
What is the difference between the Writer’s Residency™ and the Writer’s Lab™?
The Residency ($197/month) is for writers who want consistent accountability and space to keep producing. The Lab ($297/month) goes deeper on craft and development with more direct feedback on the work itself. Both are monthly memberships.
Do you only work with book authors?
No. The work spans books, screenplays, television and film projects, poetry, essays, podcasts, and brand or platform storytelling. If it is built out of words and it matters to you, it is in scope.
What is the Creative Development Partnership™?
The deepest level of engagement in the Creative Universe — a minimum six-month collaborative partnership for creators bringing a significant project to life. It is application-based, and every partnership is quoted individually.
Do you edit finished manuscripts, or only work in progress?
Both. Some clients arrive with a draft that needs developmental editing; others arrive with an idea and nothing on the page yet. The starting point does not disqualify you.
How do I book Linda to speak?
Use the Speaking Inquiry form on the Speaking page. Keynotes, workshops, panels, trainings and special events for organizations, schools, conferences, businesses, nonprofits and churches.
Can Linda run a workshop for my group?
Yes. Workshops and masterclasses are hands-on craft training built around what you want your group to walk away with. Tell me about the group on the Workshops page and I will follow up.
How do I get on the Stay Write Podcast?
Apply through the Become a Guest form on the Stay Write Podcast page. The show is built around writers, creators and visionaries who speak truth and share the journey honestly.
How do payments work?
Sessions and memberships are paid online at the time of booking. Intensives and partnerships are quoted first, then invoiced. Everything is confirmed in writing before work begins.
Do you offer refunds?
All payments are final. When you book, that time is reserved for you and preparation on your project begins before we ever meet — which is time that cannot be given to anyone else. The same applies to workshops and group events, where seats are limited and the work is prepared in advance. Full terms are in the Refund Policy.
Can I reschedule if something comes up?
Yes. Clarity Calls and coaching sessions can be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions and late cancellations are forfeited. For workshops and group events, a credit or transfer can sometimes be approved — reach out and ask.
What is the Neighborhood, and does it cost anything?
It is free. Writing tips, podcast updates, event invites, resources and behind-the-scenes access, sent by email. Free forever, no spam.
How quickly will I hear back?
Speaking and workshop inquiries get a reply within two to three business days. Applications for the Intensive and the Partnership are reviewed personally, so those take a little longer.
Still have a question?
Send it over and I’ll answer it personally.
