Meet Linda Orji — Bold Journey Magazine Feature

Publication: Bold Journey Magazine

Date: March 19, 2024

Bold Journey spoke with Linda Orji about purpose, faith, entrepreneurship, and the creative discipline behind her work as a writing coach, author, trainer, and spoken word artist.

Finding purpose by leaving the comfort zone

Linda frames purpose as service—helping others—and credits her Nigerian heritage and names (Orji, “strong tree”; Ogundu, “fighter for survival”) as anchors. Purpose, she says, is activated by faith and action, not fear or comparison.

K.N.O.W. — a personal mantra

Linda shares excerpts from her poem K.N.O.W., a reminder to keep building despite obstacles, stay rooted in identity, and turn lived experience into creative work that serves others.

Three essentials: Deciding, Becoming, Being

Her operating system is simple and demanding: decide in faith, become the person your work requires, and be present in the process. She emphasizes documenting the journey—books, courses, performances—and enjoying the work as much as the outcomes.
